Counselling, Conflict and Communication Solutions. Creating a Positive Way Forward
Director and Senior Trainer, Claire Denby-Knight is a former Police Officer who spent much of her career in front line policing and an array specialist roles. As well as being a Response Officer in inner city Birmingham, she became a Force Law Trainer, Diversity Champion, Sexual Offences lead and Restorative Justice expert. She is also an esteemed Counsellor and has recently added ‘Talking about relationships with Alcohol’ to the company portfolio.
Her knowledge and experience in a wide variety of situations of conflict, vulnerability and safeguarding seduced her away from policing to set up Behaviour Change Counsel. Claire now works within the Education, Housing, HR, Policing, ASB and Business sectors, applying lasting solutions to issues of conflict, communication and behaviour. She also seeks to embed sustainable Restorative Practice into organisations.
“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.” Claire Denby-Knight. Director.

Much of our work involves the embedding of Restorative Practice, which is a hugely versatile tool for creating lasting conflict resolution.
What is Restorative Practice?
Restorative Practice (RP) aims to bring together those harmed by crime OR conflict and those who caused the harm in order listen to each other, and find a positive way forward.
